save or splurge: leopard foldover clutch

So to be truthful, I don't know how I feel about the leopard foldover clutch trend. Let me explain: I see them on blogs, think they are fantastic and when I see Victoria rocking hers out, I'm just convinced I need one and would use it daily. Then I remember, I need a caryall for many reasons (one being to defend my personal space on the Metro during my morning commute). So a foldover clutch mayyyyy not be too practical for my every day life. And while I may be able to justify pricer purchases as birthday presents to myself, I think I have to wait until next year to use that excuse again. So my solution? Find one at a lower price point to internally compromise. I'm still on my 30 day shopping freeze so I'll have to wait a few more weeks before snagging my favorite alternative- the Gap clutch.

  1. Thanks for this post! I have been eyeing that clare vivier for sometime now, but not wanting to drop a lot on a clutch that is not functional for my everyday life!

  2. I've been wanting a leopard clutch for a while. I love the one from Mimic Design! Great post :)

  3. Bravo for your self-discipline with the 30-day purchase fast! :-)

  4. I really love the mimic designs version. In fact, I actually just saved it on etsy earlier this morning! But at half the price, I think Gap's version is just as cute!

  5. Thanks so much for posting this!! I've been dying for a leopard clutch but wasn't sure if I was willing to pay so much, but this really helps!

  6. Adore the F21 option...the price makes it okay to use on nights out...and trust me, its a neutral. ;)
